Infants - Pre School

Parchmore Pre-School is open to ALL families in the community. We welcome children regardless of gender, class, family status, disability, colour, ethnic origin, culture or religious belief. Children with disabilities or learning difficulties are considered a priority for admission whenever possible.

We admit children from the age of two and a half years (only 50% can be under 3 years old.) Once the Pre-School is full, we operate a waiting list arranged according to the date of birth of your child, rather than a first-come, first-served basis.

Pre - School Objectives :

The object of Parchmore Pre-School is to provide:

   • A safe and happy environment for children of Pre-School age
   • The advancement of the education of the children through educational activities which stimulate physical, mental, spiritual and social           development
   • Support and encouragement for the families involved

Emphasis is put on learning through play and sharing and mixing with others in a happy stimulating atmosphere, to prepare the child for school. There us a full range of equipment to meet the educational needs of the children at any time. Our role is one of partnership with parents and we welcome ideas, comments and suggestions. Your child will either be in blue or yellow room and will be in that room throughout their time at Pre-School and would only be moved under exceptional circumstances.
