Computer skills for Older People

 

We offer short courses designed for older people who would like to gain basic computer skills.

 

 

Absolute Beginners:

 

Six 1 hour sessions for those who have no experience of computer use.

 

Intermediate Beginners:

 

Six 1 hour sessions for those who have completed the “Absolute Beginners” course or those who have some experience of using computers but want to improve their skills.

 

Please Note: These courses are for people who have little or no previous experience of using computers - If you require more in depth experience you should check with your local library for availability of adult education courses in your area.

The courses are held in our Computer Room every Monday morning at the following times:

 

Absolute Beginners:             Monday 10.00 to 11.00am.

 

Intermediate Beginners:       Monday  11.30 to 12.30pm

 

The cost of  each 1 hour session is £3.

 

 

The computer room is available on Wed mornings for those who wish to practise their skills.

[A small charge is made for this and is time limited to 90mins if other people are waiting to use the computers]

 

Refreshments are available
