Services and Activities
for older people
The Pop-In uses the ground floor of 55 Parchmore Road. It is a centre where older people can meet to socialize. It is open Tuesday to Friday, 10 am - 2.30 pm. Tea, coffee and light refreshments are available at modest prices.
Staff are on hand for advice and support e.g. help with letters and forms, shopping and transport to appointments. They are supported by expert advice and regular visits from Health Visitors for older people, Age Concern, Corydon Welfare Benefits Project and others as required and requested.
The Lunch Club within the Pop-In offers a freshly cooked two course hot meal everyday that the Pop-In is open, at midday and at a cost of £2.60. We have a fully accessible minibus and are able to offer transport where necessary. Both meals and transport need to be booked.
